Our Very Near God

Contrary to the impression you may be left with as you sing along to many contemporary “worship” songs, God is not distant. We do not need Him to breathe on us, or rain down on us, or draw near to us. By grace, God is IN us through the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer in Christ. We need to embrace this truth and learn to live constantly aware of His presence within us.
